How often do you receive pin #'s?

My sister received a pin number through an email a couple of days ago. It is for Nov. & Dec. of this year. (Now, why she has one and I don't, I don't know. SHe is single and childless and went to DW last year. I am married with 2 kids, been to DW 3 times inclucing this year, order from the disney store ALOT, signed up on thier website and anything else disney, etc..... ) But, I digress........anyway, we are planning a BIG family trip next year (DEC). How likely is it that she will get another pin # next year? Has anyone else received them multiple times around the same time each year?

I've never gotten one. I have been signed up on Disneydirect for so long and spent so much I am a best guest Platinum member (before that I ordered from the catalog). I have been to WDW 60 times. I went 5 times last year, 6 times this year. Have been an AP holder for 10 years (along with hubby, grandson, and DD and SIL). Am now a DVC member and, until recently, hubby was a Disney CM for 8 years. I guess disney sees no incentive to give us a postcard offer or pin offer. I get so much disney email, it's almost daily on several different email addresses. I've had the same email address for 8 years. I've been to conventions and special events, so am on those mailing list too. I even get calls from WDW gallery stores when items I like come in. So for all of you out there that do not get email pins or snail-mail pins, you're not alone.

Forgot: My grandson did get a postcard several years ago with a pin code on it, he was six years old at the time (but an AP holder)--go figure.

I got one 2 years ago--when I knew NOTHING about how hard to get they were! We just looked at it and pitched it, since we couldn't go during that time frame. Had we known, we might have worked a little harder to fit it in!

Obviously the pin # email worked on her......she called me this morning to tell me that she's going THIS NOVEMBER with her new discount!!!!!!!!!

This will be the first time her boyfriend has EVER been! I'm hoping that my sister will come back home "engaged"!!!!

I remember getting a postcard more than ten years ago. At the time, I had a room booked at a better discount already. I thought it was kind of strange. Haven't gotten one since....and we go to WDW a bunch!
