I vacuum carpets once per week.
I also vacuum the wood floors with the beater bar switched off
I probably push a damp washleather across the wooden floors maybe one per month.
In between I may do spot cleaning with spray and cloth.
I shampoo the carpets with a soil extraction machine once per year.
We don't wear shoes in the house, but not every visitor we have will remove shoes and so I have to spot spray sometimes.
We have no pets and two sons. 16 and 18yo
ps. yes I am a man
What is a "washleather"?

I am supposed to MOP???????

I have less energy when I do "nothing" than if I do "something".. (Actually, in terms of the therapy, one of the principles is getting up and moving around - not sitting idle..
) But getting back to the cleaning, I've always washed floors on my hands and knees - nothing new there - LOL..
. Seriously, people deal with anxiety in different ways, I also need to work it out physically and then I always feel like I channeled it in a positive direction.
My place could always use some scrubbing & cleaning!

2 dogs 4 kids- should mop more apparantly. Usually once every couple of months. and by couple I mean 6. I vaccum often but mopping- eh not so much. Particularly on the hard wood. It's a huge pain. mop, dry, mop , dry. I HATE it!
You get the picture...
