How often do you go to the movies?

Well before I saw Must Love Dogs this August, I hadn't been to the movies since Feb 2004. Movies are always coming out that I want to see but I just run out of time to see them.

I live in New York and never go to the movies here, not with the few selfish jerks who love to interact with the actors on the screen. This ruins it for the majority of the people who want to go out and enjoy themselves. I go in the summer in New Jersey to the movies and everytime we go to Downtown Disney, which is about 3 times a year.

Usually about once a month. We have Netflix, so we watch a buttload of stuff at home. But there are certain movies I just have to see on the big screen

Because of kids and lack of time, we may make it to 3-4 a year. That's only if there is a really big one that is in theaters long enough for us to get there and see.

I would like to go more often but we usually wait till video since we have Netflix. We go see the big blockbusters, like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc...
Our last movie was Star Wars, I think.

We only go when there is a movie we have to see right away or one that would be better seeing on a huge screen. In all we probably go 8 times a year.

we bring our own popcorn & drink and go to the matinee

Not very often, which is strange because DSIL is the manager there and we get in for free. We haven't seen a new movie in months. Although I'm definitely going to see Chicken Little and also the new Zorro movie. I'll try to talk DH into seeing that this weekend. Perhaps a date night?

Only about 3 - 4 times a year. We usually wait until something comes to DirectTV or the video store.

When we do go it is usually early on Sunday when crowds and prices are lower and then we'll go out for an early dinner after.

Oh maybe about once every month or two. I'd like to go more, but we're so busy and usually have plans for every weekend.

When we do go, it's usually on Sunday afternoons. We don't get popcorn or a drink usually, so it's not too bad, money-wise.
