How often do you get your pets groomed? With pics

Every 6 weeks for these three girls. Our groomer comes in a van and is here pretty much the whole day in our driveway on grooming day. We've had her since our Airedale was a pup...so over 12 years. She's a single Mom who went out on her own a couple of years back....leaving the employer she worked for and buying her own used van. So we pay $400...which includes a nice tip for her because she's so good with my girls.

Both of these breeds always remind me of an angry Scotsman 😂🤣

I had a Yorkie (RIP) and I planned her grooming around holidays and special occasions so she’d look nice for those. Sometimes she’d look pretty scruffy while waiting, but I just kept her brushed and put her hair in a little ponytail to keep her hair out of eyes (we loved her little scruffy look - LOL). I miss her - she’s was 14 1/2 years old when she passed away.

My sweet girl in my office/playroom/dog room at my store - my DD played school with her 😂 (she was young then) and the other she’s on her favorite pool float. She loved being in the pool with me. Everyone knew that no one but Sophie could use that float.

So sorry for your loss. 🙁 She was a cutie!

Funny on the float, though. Mine has his own, too! And he loves being sprayed!

I’m sorry too @slo

When we got this guy, I imagined something similar, he would enjoy the pool with me, but nope, he can’t stand it! I’ve tried floats, a jacket, etc. He eyeballs us outside thriough the patio door 🤣, because he needs to see us. Being black he heats up so fast outside. He did seem to enjoy the ocean a lot, so I think him being able to walk in and touch the bottom on his own made him feel safe.

Love the pool pics 🥰

It is. They charged a $17 “tech fee” which I’ve never seen before (for nails). Veterinary costs have really gone up. Normally I do nails myself but I only take a little bit off. This time I thought I’d let them do them. They did do a nice job.

And they want me to come back to do them again in four weeks!

One time after I brought my cat home from the vet she was shaking her paws a little and when I checked I noticed that they had trimmed her nails. I didn't ask them and they didn't charge me. I am pretty sure it was done for their own personal safety! 🤣 She's a feisty tortie, so I have no doubt -she probably got someone good!

For our vet if you do a wellness exam they consider the nail trimming for cats (it's a cat only clinic we go to) part of that so no additional charge.
