I haven't been on a DC in almost a year now and starting to get that itch. How often do you go?

DW works as a realtor so depending on how busy she is, depends on how often we do (or can!) go. We went on 3 3 day cruises last year - 2 with the kids & 1 without. Nothing planned this year until October but we did spend almost a week at WDW in May.

We try to do a 7-day and a 3-day every year....really depending on pricing and how busy we are...with DCL reigning in FL res discounts, and the fact that we are expecting our 3rd child, who knows how often we can cruise in future....

I know about those FL rates. Haven't seen any in a loooooonnnnggg while.

It has been almost a year for us as well. I think we have decided that we are going in September with or without Fl Res discounts. Of course without the FL Res discount we will be in a Cat 11 and with the discount we will book a 6 (or a 5 since sometimes there is no discount for a 6). I have talked a friend of mine with 2 kids the same ages of my kids to go.

At about a year, I can not stand it anymore. I am sure there is something wrong with the fact this will be my 3 years olds fourth Disney Cruise :confused3

We are doing about one a year which works for us. Here's our breakdown:

1999 - 3 day Magic Land/Sea

2001 - 7 day Magic Eastern

2002 - 4 day Wonder

2003 - 4 day Wonder DVC, 7 day Magic Western

2004 - 10 day Magic Christmas

2005 - 4 day Wonder DVC

2006 - 7 day Magic Double Scoop (Costa Maya and CC twice).

2007 - talking about Alaksa - with or without DCL

and we are HOOKED on cruising now!
Disney Magic over Xmas w/ the kids. Frankly I can barely wait that long!
Probably only one w/ kids for a while---SOOOO much more expensive for 5 than 2!!! (plus MIL is springing for this one!)
DH & I are both teachers, and our district has a week off each Oct., cheaper time to cruise! We have a week in March, too, but soo much more expensive then! Nice time for Vegas then... (gee, we should expand our vacation choices...but love Vegas--married there--and cruising!)
SOOOOO hoping to cruise annually, though would certainly do more if budget would allow!
Happy cruising!
Kristin

We go every year.

October 2003 3 day Wonder

October 2004 7 day Magic

September 2005 3 day WOnder

November 2006 4 day Wonder-in planning process- I am hunting for the best rates

August 2003--7 day Eastern
August 2004--7 day Eastern
January 2005-Special 4 day (Magic) Bahamas

Hoping to sneak in a 4 day Wonder between now and our booked,
August 2006--7 day Western (2 stops at CC)

I get the itch every time I see a cruise commercial :rotfl:

Also when I see all these wonderful pictures people on this board are posting.

We try to go every 3yrs.

We have our next one booked for July of 2006. I discovered this message board about a week ago and now I can't stand it. Now I'm looking for a holiday cruise to hold us over until next summer.

We pretty much take cruises several times a year. Just got back from the Panama Repo. cruise.

Going in two weeks on the Disney Wonder, July 7th

Going on the DVC Member cruise in September, 2005
(coming home and leaving right away for Hawaii for two week - flying, of course)

Scheduled for the Stitch Pin Adventure on the Wonder in November - but will probably cancel this one, as I am having surgery for an ankle fusion and want to go ahead and get it done instead of waiting.

Waiting on Disney to go to Alaska. That one will definitely be booked.

I get the itch everytime I log onto the Disboards :rotfl: Every other year seems to be our plan, looks like 2007 is going to be our next one cause we want to save up for a Verandha :cheer2:

We get 'the itch' a lot more often than we go, LOL!

We did our first cruise (DCL of course) in March 2002, and decided then on we must go once every year. (If $$ were no object, it'd be more often than that!)

we went on our 1st one this past march for the 4 day and were hooked. we are booked for the eastern cruise in oct 2006. I would like to make it a yearly thing while the kids are young. Of course my 1st cruise I had a nice fla discount but Im not holding my breath for that to happen again so I'll take what I can get and rebook on board! :cool1:

Every other year so far - we will be on our third next week (West Coast). Have only cruised on the Magic - want to try the 4 day Wonder - afraid it might seem to short.
