How often do you exercise/go to the gym?

I am thinking of revamping my workouts and go to the gym more. I feel better when I work out there than when I do my aerobics tapes at home. Just wondering what everyone else does, and how often.

I have just got back into my workout routine a few weeks ago. I feel so much better when I work out! I take classes at least 3 times a week. My gym canveled the 4:30 Friday class, that was my 4th. I never seem to get there on the weekends:o I have to try harder and get there:)

M-F from 4pm-8:30 pm and every other saturday from 9am-12 noon. Oops.....guess it doesn't count since I WORK for the gym!!! :p :p :p

Every day M-F at 4:30 a.m. Sometimes I fit in weekend workouts too, but it's rare. It's a great way to start my workday!

I try to work out 5-6 times a week if work permits. I usually an able to get the 5 workouts in. Now if i would only eat less!!!!

I jog 3 miles, usually 7 days a week, sometimes 6. If its too much snow or ice on the roads, or pouring rain, I will do my bike for 1/2 hour instead.

I also ab crunch for about 10-15 minutes 6 days a week.

I walk about 3 miles also with DS in the carriage as many days that I can Mon-Fri. It usually depends on the weather. I can justify running in the rain or cold by myself, but I wont take DS out if its too bad out. And when oldest Ds is not in school it makes it more difficult too.

I have never been one to exercise--I absolutely HATE to sweat. I'd much rather curl up with a good book. Unfortunately, That makes WDW rather uncomfortable since lack of exercise, good food, and a sedentary job have resulted in a rather Plus-sized figure. When we got home from the parks last December, I made up my mind that #1, we were going to Dis Con II and #2, I was going to lose as much of this extra bulk as possible! I now swim before work every morning (HA!!! NO SWEAT!!) and have dropped over 30 lbs.! I am ecstatic because my clothes are falling off me (love the excuse for a new wardrobe!) and my DH says he can see a difference in my moods, my energy, and my pace when we go mall-walking! Don't think I'll ever be a WDW commando, but this trip is definitely going to be the best ever.

I have exercised before and given it up after a month or two for one excuse or another. But for some reason, this time, I actually look forward to the pool every morning! The chlorine is wreaking havoc with my hair, but heck, I'll just cut it off eventually! I FEEL so much better than I ever have. That's never happened before.

Stay with it gemmie & Princess Vija! It's worth it!!

Bye-bye, Lane Bryant!!!!

I work out 6 times a week, I use the Firm tapes and my treadmill. The thing that I found that made a difference for me was the weights that you use with the tapes, its really helped me build muscle and lose the lbs., too. Good luck!!:D

I usually do early AM cardio...then lift for about 45mins sometime between 10am-2pm 5 to 6 days per week.

I follow the "Max-OT" training prinicipals switching between mass building, and recovery cycles.

I concentrate on one or two body parts/muscle groups at most per workout..and try never to repeat the same routine within a week. Weather permitting I'll do alot more track/cardio workouts on weekends (and warm weather! ;) )

:)

Usually 5 days per week, 45min. to 1 hour per day.

I alternate between Tae-Bo and other Aerobic exercise for 3 of the days, and do weight training and other toning exercise the other 2 days.

Unfortunately, I've had to take some time off due to Carpal-Tunnel. I can start back next week, but no more push-ups or tricep dips!

I either walk at 5am with my neighbor, or do an exercise tape in my living room, also at 5am. I do this 3-4 times per week. It's the ONLY time I'll do it. I won't have time after work due to supper, and DS play/bath/attention time. (Not that I mind that! ;))

I have been doing this for about 2-3 months now. I am getting remarks from people that I haven't seen in a while on how good I look. Amazing! :)

I would never get my butt to a gym. That's just not me. I wish it were. I have quite a variety of different tapes that I switch off with. That helps kill the monotony. (sp?)

Good luck!

I usually work out 5 times a week. Sat, Sun, Tues, Wed, & Thurs for 1/2 hour on my exercise bike in the evening (usually 7:30 pm while watching "Friends" reruns!). I do a hill climb program that is pretty intense... and average 16 MPH for the entire duration. I am moving along at a good clip and really sweat and get the lungs working! I do some crunches and free weights for about 10 minutes 3 days a week. It's just a regular part of my routine now.

M-F.

I Lift on M W and F

I run on T Thurs.

Three mornings a week on a regular basis. However, I have insurance that will cover half the cost of my YMCA member ship if I work out 120 days in a year. Because I took so many trips this year, I am behind in my days. I'm also losing days because of DIS-CON. So, I have to make up a few days which means I now have to add two days a week to my routine. I am going to the gym five times a week from now until the end of the year. :)
