How often do you do laundry?

How often do you do your laundry? It seems a lot of you must be doing it all the time if you use everything only once.

I live in an apartment, so for me it is very inconvenient to do laundry. I do laundry only every 3-4 weeks. I guess that's why I have such a big underwear drawer.

Dh typically does the laundry-- several loads during the week.

wow, I couldn't imagine going that long without doing laundry. I do it once a week, either saturday or sunday and it's usually 3-5 loads for the two of us.

When I had to go to the laundrymat, it was every 1-2 weeks.

When I lived in an apartment with facilities in the basement, I did all my laundry once a week on the weekend.

Now that I live in an apartment with a washer/dryer in the unit, I do a few loads every couple of days, and all the remaining laundry on the weekends.

It is a rare day that I don't do laundry. I do about 10 loads a week. I folded a load and put in another before work this a.m.

Ha ha ha! I do about four loads a day, more when the older two are home from college! I usually do one or two loads of darks, one load of lights, maybe one load of whites, and a load of towels. We only use our towels once before they go in the washer. Once a week I do all the sheets. It seems as if our dryer is always on.

I am amazed at the amount of laundry 2 people can produce - I do laundry every 3 days or so, 2-3 loads. Of course my DH has work clothes and changes when he gets home - so that adds to the pile each day....

I do it every day, too. I figure we do about 9-10 loads per week. My laundry room is right outside my bedroom door, and right across from the upstairs bathroom, so it's easier for me to keep on top of it.

DH does all the laundry at the weekends. The only time he does laundry during the week is if we're going away for the weekend.

i do laundry once a week. we also live in an apartment - if we had a w/d in our apartment it would be every few days or so.

It is a rare day that I don't do laundry. I do about 10 loads a week. I folded a load and put in another before work this a.m.

I do have a lot of clothes! When I am doing laundry, I find shirts I forgot I even had. I have 3 dressers, a closet, and half my DH's closet full of clothes.

It's just my DH & I, if we had kids it would be a different story. And if I had a machine in my apartment it would be easy to do laudry all the time. Just fill up the machine, when it's full, run it.

I also happen to HATE laundry, so it may be another reason I avoid doing it.

My DD is in college--when she's home she washes 2 loads of laundry a week. My 15yo washes 2 loads a week, and I still wash my 12yo's clothes, usually 2 loads a week. When he's playing baseball--most of the year--I have at least one load a week of his baseball clothes. Maybe not a full load, but I don't wash them with the other clothes. If he has multiple games I usually wash more than one load.

I wash 2 loads of towels, and probably about 3-4 loads for my DH and myself. My 6yo's clothes get thrown in with mine or with his brothers clothes. On weeks that I wash sheets, that's 2-3 loads, but I wash them every other week so that's not every week.

So, without considering my DD, that's about 12-14 loads a week. I don't wash every day so some days I wash multiple loads. Today I'm washing towels, so it's 2 loads, plus a load of clothes. Tomorrow I'll wash all the sheets, so that's at least a couple loads.

Every day. I can't stand to see dirty clothes lying around even if it is in the laundry room. Just something gross about it. We have 5 people, so we create quite a bit in a really short period of time.

I do 5 or 6 loads per week. I usually start on Saturday and finish on Sunday.

I suppose we'd have more to wash if I didn't dry clean most of my work clothes. Also, I'll wear the same "after work" outfit (jeans, t-neck, fleece) for 2, 3 or 4 days in a row before it goes in the laundry, so that reduces the amount to wash.
