How Often Do You Change Your Mind?

There are so many different Disney resort we're spoilt for choice. I usually think I've made my mind up about where to stay, and I read something that makes me want to stay somewhere else. Do you do the same thing.

For this trip, I really wanted to stay at AKL - but I worried that it will trigger my sons allergies.

Then I'd definitely decided on GF - I thought.

But, just now I read on the front page of this sight that they're doing Segway tours at Fort Wilderness. And I love Segways. The Epcot one was good but FW would be more fun. Unfortunately there's 7 of us, so we won't fit in a cabin. So, now I'm pondering Wilderness Lodge.

But, I know that our ultimate decision will rest on where we get the best discount.

How many times do you change your mind? And are you guilty of changing your ressies several times? I am trying to avoid making one yet, as it's almost a year, and I know the first one will be one of several if I do it now.

I am the "change my resort" queen!
I have changed so many times planning for our Dec. trip that I have actually lost count! Seriously - it was that bad. I am now using a TA and so I will no longer be calling CRO and harrassing them I am sure they are relieved.

Our first trip to the world, we had booked at ASMovies and my DH decided that he wanted to stay at a moderate so we changed to POR, but as I was on the phone with reservations, my DH was on the Disney website and caught a glimpse of WL so just as I got off the phone, he told me to get back on and change it again for WL...which is where we ended up staying. I think it is all part of the fun of planning, being able to change your mind.

We NEVER change our minds! We've been CBR people for so long! But, this next year with the bounceback we got fiesty and switched to Poly... and honestly, now I'm thinking Beach Club .... I might have the "change my ressie bug". Oh no!

I have changed my mind a few times, even had to change a reservation or two. I finally made my mind up and I am content, I also have no choice all the rooms are booked when I am going.

We never change our minds, we have been to WDW 39 times and know where we like so it ends up being price. Who has the best discount etc. Mostly we stay at WL, for us best resort for the money and location is prime, we enjoy the MK the most. We know our dates when we call CRO and have 2 resorts in mind, first pick and second and the rest is up to availability. Having to many ressies in the system, numerous calls to CRO can confuse the CM's and computer so we like just one reservation and number. We'll be coming back again and again and finding a different resort we like could be possible for another trip but highly unlikely.

I've only changed an existing reservation once in the 6 times we have been to WDW. In 2000, I found out it would only cost $100 more total to stay at Dixie Landings instead of an All Star, so I changed it. Other than that, the only changes I've made have been before we ever made the reservation.

I have 2nd thoughts on what I've planned and where right up til we check in! You can't make any bad choices as far as resorts go. But I know I'm always thinking of different options!

My family says I am the Queen of Resort Changers. Sometimes I just keep going back and forth and sometimes and discount is the deciding factor. I just changed our January trip from Polynesian to GF because the Disney Visa discount wasn't good at the Poly for our time frame. Now originally we were staying at the Poly for the Marathon trip in January and in July we are doing a week at WL (Magical Gathering) and then a week with just our immediate family. I have GF booked for that second week, but since we are staying at the GF in January now I have to decide if we want to keep the GF reservation or switch to Poly or YC. I know I will keep going back and forth on this one.

Even my mother says don't tell me where you're staying on your trips until a week ahead of time, since you change your mind so many times!
