how often do you call

Both my parents are dead.

I call my grandmother about once a week so she can basically ream me out over something. She is one negative human being, but she's old and mean and all mine.

And I call the in-laws usually about once a month. I feel like its the daughterly-in-law thing to do, but I never really know what to say to her after all these years of being in her family. She's not really my type - nice enough, just different than my mother was.

We email, call, or see each other, just about everyday. We live 1/2 mile away from each other.

My parents live about 20min from me, and they are on my way home from work, so I just stop by

I dont have the best relationship with my mom and dad so i only speak to them about once a month and see them about once every two months. They only live 5 miles away so its sad really. I do however speak to & see my sister every week day, also im very close to my in-laws so we speak at least twice a week, sometimes more.

I callm y mom about 3 times a week. DH never calls his mom - he's just not a "pick up the phone to say hi" type of person.

My mom passed away 5 yrs ago but my 85 yr old dad calls me all the time, I don't keep count but I would have tosay at least 10 times a day. Sometimes I get mad but dont say anything to him.

wow! I thought I was close to my parents but I don't talk to them as much as you all! I used to talk to my mom about once a week and MIL once every 2 weeks or so. But since my mom's cancer has come back I talk to her every other day, if not every day.

Almost never call her...we email almost daily. It annoys me to call her...she's so worried about how much it's costing me (long distance). I see her once a week on the weekend...she's 80 (a young 80) and lives about 25 miles away. My sister (divorced, no job, no kids at home) lives 180 miles away, but spends A LOT of time there.

My MIL calls DH at work every Friday between 8:20 and 8:22 AM.

No mom for me to call, but I talk to my dad at least once a day and probably see him 6 out of 7 days a week.

I try NOT to call everyday. The long distance bill is VERY high. We got a cell phone that makes it a local call, but last month I didn't keep very good track of my "peak" minutes and I went way over.

So to answer the question, 4-5 times a week. We live an hour away and I've hated that for 5 1/2 years!

I call my mom usually once a day!!(she is my best friend) we spent the day today SHOPPING!!!
I also call my stepmom atleast twice a week!! (We are more like sisters!!)

but my Mom passed away 2 1/2 years ago, so I can't call her. I always complained about her calling me two or three times a day, but now I would give anything to answer the phone and hear her on the other end!!!!!!!I do still talk to her in my thoughts often and I know that she is listening! Feel blessed to be able to talk to your Mom each time you do talk to her!!!!!!!
