How often do you call for waitlist

How often and how many times do you call, if you cannot get a ressie and are waitlisting?

I have ressie for 11-11 - 11-14 and want a different resort. Booked last min, so I guess I should be happy with anything, but I don't know how often to call.

I have called everyday before until i got want I wanted. But it is usually only for a day or 2.

For waitlist, you don't have to call back everyday. I waitlisted for THV at 7 months and a month later got a confirmation in the mail saying we had it.

You can call if there are other options that you would take but couldn't wait list because of the limit.

In addition, if you are willing to take a night at a time, you could call to do that. But, with a 3 day trip, I don't think I would go that route. And, given that it is so busy, you want to be careful that you don't try to take something and end up losing everything.

We did that last summer. We started out with an SSR reservation. We really wanted BWV, BCV, or BLT. We called and were able to switch SSR to AKV (not one of our choices, but better than SSR). I could only put in two wait lists so I had to call.

By the time the trip came, I ended up getting two of the nights at BWV, and two nights at BLT.
