I have been trying for an 8:00 ADR (before the park opens) for 5 at Tusker House for June 20th for almost 2 months. Is there a secret to when to call or how often to call if you are hoping for a cancellation?

How often do you call for that last ADR you just can't get?

Thank you for your help!

It depends on how bad I want it!!! I called for an Illuminations or Wishes Cruise daily a couple of years ago, and I finally got it.....or else they got tired of telling me no?

Have you been able to get an ADR at all for that day? I would recommend taking an early one, say 8:15 or 8:20 and be there at 8:00, IF you can get the other times.

Sorry, that's the best I've got. I hope you get it!

I called every day atleast twice a day for three months for a CRT ADR on my dd's birthday! It finally paid off a week and a half before my trip! :goodvibes DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!! The closer to time for your trip, the more people will be finalizing their plans and cancelling their unwanted/unneeded ressies. pixiedust:

I don't have an answer to your question, but just wanted to say I just made ADR's for the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom on the same day you'll be there!

Good luck with calling!

if it was an ADR i really really wanted, i'd call every day, twice (at 7am and again in the afternoon) for however long - and i'd probably try once arriving in disney, as well!

If it's a place you REALLY want to eat at, I'd call every day right up until the day you want to go :thumbsup2. People cancel all the time and you just never know when it might become available :goodvibes. You could also (if you haven't already) book some where else for that day so you have something and then cancel it if your original choice becomes available ;).

Ummmm....yeah. I'm a little obsessive. I call several times a day, especially if its something we really want. I actually I have a cheat sheet of all the numbers to push in order so I can cut down the time I have to wait. And I usually get what I want. Once, I booked LeCellliar during free dining 8 days out for a party of 8 at 3:40pm on a Thursday. So it does happen. But like I said, I'm a little obsessive. Ok, a lot obsessive. Its the thrill of the hunt for me. And I don't know that there is a good time to call, I've booked things first thing and I've booked them at the end of the day. Going back into hiding now....

I called ~15 times to get a lunch reservation to Le Cellier... after I dined there, I was mad at myself that I wasted so much time. There really are more restaurants with better food and service in Epcot than Le Cellier which is regarded to some as the 'god' of all WDW restaurants.

The only restaurant I will call every day for is Crystal Palace because it is a family tradition and obviously can't be missed. :)
