How often do they have Promo's?

Hi there, we went to WDW in 9/05 and were interested in the DVC while we were there. At the time they were offering a $1200 credit. We didn't have time to go to the sales pitch. Once we got home we really wanted more info so I sent away for the Information packet and realized we couldn't really afford it. Now we just got a flyer in the mail for 15% off membership for atleast $2200 off.

My question is how often do they have these promo's? We would love to buy into the DVC, but could a while if there is a better deal to be had.
I now know we can go re-sale (i'll post on that in a minute) just wondering how often they have sales.

When we were at WDW in 9/05 they had DVC stands everywhere and we thought it was borerline obnoxious. I don't remember them promoting so much when we were there in 3/04. Has anybody else noticed an increase in DVC advertising at the world?

They almost always have some discount going on, but this price is the best one they've had in over 2 years. If you're on the verge of buying, now is the time.

Some may say it's obnoxious, but most current owners will tell you the biggest mistake they ever made was waiting so long to buy. Sounds like you may add yourself to that list someday.

If you know of a more effective way to get the message out, I'm sure DVC would love to hear it.
