How often DO they change the sheets?

When we stayed at Pop Century a week and a half ago, I was reading our check-in brochures and saw that they change the sheets every 4 days.

I don't know about the blankets and bedspreads. I don't really like thinking about that!

I saw an expose on a news channel a year or so ago about hotel room bedspreads (obviously they didn't go to Disney, but they visited some widely recognized chains). They held UV lights up to the bedspreads which revealed all the bodily fluid stains and such that hadn't been cleaned.

I saw the same program and it freaked me out!! I wonder if we can ask for them to be washed?

We were just at YC Dec 16-23. Our sheets were changed 3 times. Our towels were replaced daily despite our hanging them back up to indicate we could re-use them. I must say I am guilty of enjoying fresh towels daily though!

I am with you! How can we find out if they change the spreads or blankets and can we request. Yes, I too saw the same 60 minutes report. I actually know some dental professionals who bought their own black lights to check for "bodily fluids"!!! I just bring a LARGE can of Lysol. Is it over the top to call ahead or ask when you check in for freash spreads and blankets? I have never been brave enough to ask.
