How noisy is IOA?

My family is used to WDW where it is relatively quiet when you walk around. We went to Six Flags and the kids were overwhelmed by the noise from the park- roller coasters streaming overhead, screaming from the rides, etc. How does IOA compare?

Lol, well each Island at IOA does have it's own soundtrack... Marvel Superhero Island is indeed the loudest. Hulk can be heard from the entire park, and it launches overhead, and goes under the bridge. The area is also blasting loud technorock music the entire time. Rip Ride Rockit is relatively quiet (except for the station and queue area, which has music playing) and dragons is quiet as well.

It is not all that loud.. it is a great atmosphere.

Except for the occasional roar from Hulk, it was really relatively quiet. Not as loud as a trip to the mall food court. (I can't get out of htere fast enough....ugh! LOL! )

You can actually hear hulk 'roar' on launch all the way from from universal. It's THAT loud, but it's not overwhelming...don't ask....I don't understand it and can't explain it. Just how it is. LOL!

But no, it's not overwhelming noisewise. And if you need a break, there are quieter nooks around the 'Great inland sea' to explore.
