Just thought I'd share...
We're budgeting for a September trip with our DD9 and DS9. We know we want to give them about $20/day spending money for a 10 day trip, and since we're about 200 days out, we decided to let them earn up to $1 per day.
I printed out Disney Dollars here:

My kids have to do three things each day to earn their Disney Dollar:
1. Show respect to Mom, Dad, and sibling
2. Keep their rooms reasonably clean
3. Do as they're told the first time
Because we don't do perfect in our house, we allow them 3 strikes before they lose their dollar. Each day is a fresh start. We use the printables because it would drive us crazy to always keep ones on hand. When they reach 20 or 50 Disney Dollars, they can trade it in for real bills. The Disney dollars they earn are kept in their own large pickle jars with their names on them and the money can't be touched until the trip. They don't have to spend it at Disney...they can save it or use it for whatever they want as long as it's past the date we leave for our trip.
This also gives us a way to budget the $400 spending money we will give them for the trip...we just have to budget a few dollars a week.
They money is to be used for anything "extra" they want at the parks including souvenirs, snacks and games. It is up to them to budget how they see fit.
It's been about a week and we've seen inprovements in their behavior..they check in to make sure they're still earning their dollar for the day. It seems to be a win-win all around.
