Hey all!
With less than a week to go I was wondering how much money you all bring for daily food expenses? I am not a major breakfast eater so really I am looking at counter service for lunches and mostly resturants for dinners (Rose and Crown and Hollywood and Vine). Thanks for the help.

we take about $125 a day for 2 people. We do usually eat two meals a day, both sit down. Some days we don't use it, but then on our special nights we go over with dinner alone. It seems to work for us. Have a wonderfule time.

We usually eat breakfast in our room (bring pop tarts, cereal, etc.), and we bring a cooler with drinks, so we don't buy drinks at the counter service restaurants. Counter lunches usually cost us (family of 4) around $25 (again, no drinks) and closer to $40 or $50 for sit down dinners. Here is a link for a menu section with prices.

There are 3 in our family. dd12, dw, and myself. we have been operating on a $100 per day plan ever since our first trip in 95'. This includes all meals and souviniers(sp). some days we go over, but, most days we can eat for well under $100. this figure works well for us because our trips are usually in the 15-16 day range. for shorter trips; this average figure would probably have to be higher to include purchases other that food.

We eat breakfast in our room as well, and bring or buy water bottles and snacks off site. With no drink purchases for lunch (unless one of the kids orders off the kids menu & lunch comes with a drink) and a sit-down dinner (often with wine for DH & I) our family of 5 spent anywhere from $125-$150 a day on food.

I figure between 100-125 per day for food.
Now with that being said... I have 4 small children, and I don't eat a whole lot. So we will get 1 meal for DH and 2 or 3 for us 5 to share. I bring snacks from home or purchase at the Grocery store when we arrive.
We try to go to a couple of character meals while we are at WDW.

Then I figure 100 for spending per day.

60-100 per day for 2 adults including vouchers, either breakfast of bagels/ cereal in room, sit down or buffet lunch and a counter or food court dinner or a big breakfast and early big dinner( like Ohana, Boma).
