How much would you pay for magic carpet?

Since we all know that the magic carpet is coming out and it is going to cost "a lot" I am curious to what a lot means.

I figure that it will cost more than anything in VMK so that is over 2,000. I am thinking around 5,000.

I would pay up to 10,000 for one if that is what it took. It would take half of my credits but I would do it.

How much would you all pay for one?

dear lisa i hope u got my apology letter i wrote it in the tomorrowland 8/9 post but anyhow how would that be only half your credits!!!! i could never get 20 thousand credits i have only two, how do u get so much credits, and sorcmickey where have u heard it would be more, i hope it is not. lisa again i am sorry for the incident

I have saved 10,000 credits, just to be on the safe side. I am hoping it is not more than 5,000. I don't want more than one - I just don't want to spend all of my credits at once!

I have 30,000 credits or so right now just because I'm trying to see how much I can earn in a 7 day period... 3 days left... Think I can reach 50,000?

BUT, for about 98% of VMK players, even 5000 is just an insane ammount of credits.

I am in the same boat as tolkien7 - I have saved 10,000 and hope it is not more than that! But if it is, I can see myself just saving until I have enough...

I don't know but I would not like to have to pay more than 2000 because it takes me a very long time to save up that many credits unless I mule.....And that really is a pain because I just can not seem to give up my MULES!

Yes it is all over. I did not want to drag it out.

I have 23,000 credits right now on my main account. I try to do about 1,000 a day with I do nedding and I do a lot of the Kelloggs pirate game. I have a LOT of skull rooms. If they ever allow us to sell them I am going to be seriously rich. I make sure I click and I do not buy anything from that account. I use my other accounts for shopping

What helps a lot is I do not really work on a room. That costs so much. I have furniture I got in the early days when I did not know to save my credits for a Magic Carpet pin.

What helps is I am on the computer all day because that is my work so it is easy to ned when I need to.

Seems like the other magic pins are available when you win games, Pirates and Fire Works. Would be nice to have this pin be the same and give the less "credit enhanced" players a chance of winning one.

Although that would probably not help me out m uch either as I am game challenged! Would have to call in my DIS recruits to help me out again! Anyone up for a fire works pin trade if I buy them stuff? heehee

Well, if it's as expensive as everyone seems to think it will be, I can do without it. I know it's cool. Probably the best effects pin yet, but there is more to VMK than magic pins! (In my VMK world anyway) I was lucky to be able to afford the tomorrowland pins. Besides, I like furnishing my rooms!

rumor 1: the magic carpet will not be this weekend but will be soon.

rumor 2: the price has not yet been decided. someone said (random other forum thing) 20,000 credits (gulp).

rumor 3: it might end up being a promotional item like the pirate spells were.

ok. that's all i have heard. has anyone actually talked to yavn about these things? you know how rumors go. but it made me a little excited (and worried if it does cost that much) and so i thought i would share the excitement.

any thoughts?
