How much would DVC charge for the SSR sofabed?

Well, we have returned from our week at SSR... Coincidentally I need a sofabed, and I liked the one at SSR The sofa is made by American Leather, but apparently, it is exclusive to Disney... American Leather offers leather, suede and microfiber... so not even another upholstery material is available... We went shopping promptly today to get this information...

So, this brings me to my next question... exactly how much would DVC charge us for the sofabed if we accidentally took it out of our next unit? I'm willing to pay a lot more than I normally would....

It was NOT missing!?! Was it?? Did you ask what happened to it? Perhaps I am not the first DVC'er with this idea

I've been to their site just to locate the larger dealers in the area & that's when I went and had them call specifically on the Saratoga sofa's!

I really need to find a way to find that couch!

I was just joking....Have you tried calling someone at Disney...Maybe they will sell you one...or lead you in the right direction...Let me know if it works out.

Well, eventually one will probably show up on the mousesurplus listing on ebay. But you may not want to wait that long.

We got a SSR comforter from them a few years ago. Last year, we took the SSR tour just to see our conforter on its home turf! Thanks to mousesurplus, we are also now the proud owners of draperies from All Star Movies, as well as 4 bedspreads from the Poly (that it turns out we aren't going to be able to use!)

I cant imagine someone sneaking off in the darkness with a sleeper sofa! Besides, those things are heavy!

Liferbabe, so what if they are heavy, it's not that far a walk if you are on the first floor... I'm so serious.... They now come with micro fiber sofa's, but I'd really like one in upholstery.

Does anyone live in Dallas? Apparently there is an American Leather clearance center there. I heard they give 75% off, that'd be nice

Who would I call at Disney? I asked the concierge, but they had no idea at all.
