I plan on dining at Victoria and Alberts during my next trip to wdw. What the a dinner usually run for two people. I've seen in Birnbaums that meals per person go for $46 and up. Which is alot, but for the service and experience that I've read about on other threads it seems worth it. Thanks

Hi - We have reservations for V&A's in May and I was told when I made the reservations that it was $85 per person. When we went last I believe it was about $110 per person (we did the wine pairing). It's a prix-fixe menu so the meal costs a set price and if you do it with the wine pairing it's more.

It's an excellent meal. I found the wine pairing to be a bit too much though. The wines were all delicious and matched the courses perfectly BUT it was too much wine - I couldn't finish any of the glasses by the time the next ones arrived and by the end I was barely taking a sip.

:)

The meal is $85.00 per person. Wine pairings are an additional $42.00 per person.
If you don't get the wine pairings, the additional costs could vary quite a bit depending upon what drinks you ordered. Of course, you could order just Ice Water or Ice tea--but at a place like V&A that isn't often done.
And be sure to factor in the tip---.

I will be bringing my son (who is 18) and he will be ordering water(or what ever NA drink he wants). But, I am thinking about the wine pairing for myself. Is it worth the $42. Thanks

Well--at a place like V&A I think so. We always do it. It is always best if you like all kinds of wine, since you are likely to see several varieties. If, however, you have a strong preference for one or two kinds, they have an extensive wine list by the bottle.
I also think they have by the glass selections, but not certain as we always get the pairings.
Should add that you are in no way "forced" to drink every drop from every pairings selection. If you find yourself going "over the edge" for any reason, just stop.
