How much washing up currently needs doing?

None. Both my aunt and myself hate dirty dishes in the sink. There is a dishwasher right next to the sink, but judging from the other people in my house, it is sometimes invisible.

none I don't leave dirty dishes in the sink..and there is no dirty laundry as I did it all this morning. I also washed the floors on Tuesday,,only thing that needs washing is the house..needs power washing, but not when it's almost 90 degrees outside, lol

I have a couple dirty dishes in the sink which will get washed with the dinner dishes. No dishwasher in this house. There’s maybe 1/2 a load of dirty towels in the bathroom hamper. A basket of DH’s work cloths that get washed every Friday night, and then a load, mostly mine, that I do on the weekend. I could also add that DH needs to pressure wash our front deck and get the green mold off it and the vinyl siding. Hate that!

I feel for you there. I remember those days of a broken dishwasher with multiple people in the house. Makes me humble my complaint of not having one but only being alone now as I just hate doing them but really it isn't very many to do.

I was actually just thinking about this earlier this evening as I washed last night's dishes while tonight's supper was cooking. I won't do tonight's until tomorrow which is a drag to face them when they're day-old but by 7:00 pm when we're done eating, I've been on-the-go for 12 hours and I just don't have it in me. We have a pretty simple system around here - I'll do practically everything housework related (in addition to working full-time) but I'll do it when I dang well feel like it and God help anybody who dares complain. In general, they'd rather keep their traps shut than pitch in, so it's all good.
