How much was your energy bill last month?

$115 only because I didn't need to use my AC or heat. During the summer is the over $300. Winter is over $250. This is for gas/electric.
Water is $24, sewer is $54, trash $28.

Electric: $253.98 (But my actual budget bill was $266)
Water/Sewer: $91.84 (My 12 month avg is $90.49)
Natural Gas: $53.82 (My 12 month avg is $79.71)

4 adults, 5500 sq ft, two electric cars. Effectively two homes in one, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, 10 ton of AC, 3 natural gas furnaces, 1 heat pump, etc....

So an average monthly cost of $436.20

Electric provider bill was $23.05 which is the minimum monthly charge for being a customer so my solar panels produced more power than I used.
Solar bill was $120.
No natural gas bill, all electric house.

$35 electric.
Everything else is included in rent (water, gas, heat, trash...)

$192 electric
$18 gas
$71 all the city things....garbage, recycle, water, sewer

I'll add.....AZ.
3500 sq ft

$88 electric, $53 gas. Mostly electric house but we did run the gas fireplace on some of the cooler nights.

It would be interesting to know roughly where people are located and size of home for reference.

We are in Ontario, Canada. 1300 square feet.

Water $130 to $150 ..its notoriously expensive in my town. 2/3 of that is fixed costs and admin charges.

Gas heat $40ish in summer , $140ish in winter ..but we are set to see an increase this winter and I already keep our heat as low as we can comfortably.

Hydro (electricity) $100ish. Higher when the air is on all summer.
