We will be in Magic Kingdom and have dinner res. at O'hana's at 5:30. We were planning to ride the monorail there. I have read several threads about people not planning enough how long it takes to get there and running short on time. How much time should I plan for? I always like to be a little early, 5-10 minutes or so. I don't want to get there right at 5:30 or cut it close.

We really haven't had to wait for the monorail except at park closing. I would think if you were exiting the park at 5pm, you would still be at Ohana's in plenty of time for your 5:30pm seating.

I agree with KeepMovingForward. If you exit the park at 5:00, you should have no trouble getting to 'Ohana via the monorail by 5:30.

Yep, that is what I would have said too. Worse case scenarion that way, you get to walk around the beautiful Polynesian!!
