Trying to figure out how many quarters to bring from the change jar!

Thanks!!!

There is a dollar changer in the laundry room, if you don't want to carry all that change around. It changes $1, $5, $10 and it says $20, but I couldn't get it to accept my $20, but it would take my $10. They also sell tide and downy for $2.00. They were crowded the whole time I was there, or so it seemed, I was in the 80's section.

I jsut read yesterday that you could buy a single use detergent for a buck there too.

It's $1.50 for a box of detergent and softener. I bought those same boxes here at home cheaper and just brought them with me.

It's $2.00 per washer and dryer. You have to get tokens so don't worry about having to have alot of quarters with you. :laundy:

$2 to wash, $2 to dry - BUT - We needed $4 to dry each load. The $2 only puts 30 minutes on the dryer. We needed two cycles.

I too had to put additional money into the dryer because of heavier clothes. My DH and two teenage DS wore cargo shorts the entire trip and they took forever to dry:scared:

I just used the laundry room at Pop (the one near the Hippy Dippy Pool) and the machines took quarters, not tokens. I just took a roll of quarters with me from home.

The detergent is Expensive there i buy a travel size and bring it from home.....

Be careful with the dryers. I admit I am not an experienced laundry room user, but I put the quarters in the wrong slots & lost $2! It is slighly confusing...pay attention to the arrows, as they indicate which dryer the money slot is for, top or bottom. I split my load into 2 (what I would have usually done as 1 at home) and everything was nice & dry within a half hour.

Our family has allergys to laundry detergent so I have to bring my
on from home because we have to use Deterent w/o perfume and dyes
(it also has to be a liquid).
So last WDW trip the new Concentrated ALL FREE detergent was
out and I was able to pack a enough to do 4 loads in a small travel
bottle. The detergent only uses 2 tblsp. per load (I brought along a tblsp to measure with) and it worked out great.
Also had to bring along Dryer Sheets Free of Perfume.
What I have to go thru to prevent Allergys. :laundy:

Just so you know I just orderd the detergent & fabric softener sheets with my garden grocer order. They have the travel sizes, and they are much cheaper than getting them at the hotel.

I buy mine at the dollar store and bring them with me, it's alot cheaper. Got the same ones they sell there but it was 2 boxes for $1.00 for me.

It depends on where your staying I guess because some of the hotels the machines take the tokens and some are still taking quarters.

I had my clothes split between 3 dryers as those heavy denims just don't dry running the machine once and I had to put the extra $$$ in that one to dry them completely and just threw in anything else that didn't dry but the machines usually do a good job it's just not on denims.:sad2:

I have been collecting for my trip, so that is all I should have to pack. I appreciate everyones good information!!
