How Much To Tip for a Hair Trial

I'm having Ana come and do a hair trial on Thursday morning...how much should I tip?

It depends how much it is I just had mine on saturday and it was $115(for both hair and make-up) she came to my room and did it all. And I ended up giving her in total $140(thats with tip) and I gave her alittle more to pay for parking they were gunna charge her $8 for 2 hours!! So I gave her the cash for it there's no reason for her to pay for it. I guess it all depends I think I saw a thread that someone said 20% was good and it depends how much you like it too

How much is the trial Katie?

When Ana did my hair and make up I think it was between $120-$150 and I gave her an $80 tip. I have massive amounts of hair and she just did an amazing job on my wedding day.

I tipped the two girls that came to my room. I think my total ended up being $140. I don't know if I would have tipped Ana as I think its common practice not to tip the owner of a business.

Also since I already paid extra for having long hair I didn't do more than 20%.

I would do like $20.... I mean it's up to you and what you are comfortable with.

I'm trying to think....when I do a color service that is $50 most of my clients tip me $20.
