We are going in March, staying on site. We have the meal deal for most of our days because we have teens who get attacks of the hungries at funny times! The parks close at 8pm on most of our days so we are planning on getting some nice dinners after park closing.

It will be our 20th anniversary while we are there so we thought emerils sounds like THE place to eat our celebratory meal for one evening. Then after reading these boards I would like to try Mythos and margarittaville. Can anyone give me an idea of how much money to plan on spending at each of theses restaurants???? (2 adults and 2 teens with moderate appetites, entrees, desserts, drinks and tips)

I am a dave ramsey enevlope system user and need a rough idea of how much to feed each of the envelopes!!!

:hippie:

You can go to www.orlandocoupons.com and check out some of the menus
for citywalk and the onsite hotels ,plus they have some good coupons
for some of the resturaunts.

Don't know about Emerils, never have eaten there.

I always budget at least $100 a day. There is so many optiouns,so we allocate ourselfes that much..

Now for beer and mixed drinks, well I always stash extra $ for this alone!!:lmao:

So, $100 for margaritaville? and another $100 for mythos?

How much are we talking for tchoup chop?? :confused3 just a ball park??

Probably $200 for Tchoup Chop with drinks. Are you super-foodies? If so, I will say that Mythos and Tchoup Chop will disappoint you (especially Mythos). The food is good, but not well-executed in a "snobby foodie" way.

what is a "snobby foodie way" vs. a non snobby foodie way?

Most restaurants are about typical prices you would do at any decent sit down restaurant in your home town, Red Lobster, Applebees etc., now some of the restaurants like Emerils, Tchoup Choup are a little more high end, but yes 100 a day or 100 a sit down meal is about right give or take, now I would think some of the lesser end would be more like 60 per meal. Seems like that would be about right for a family of 4 for say a place like Margaritavilles.

Thanks guys, I love to have a plan!
And, no not super foodies....snobby or otherwise! Just looking for a "nice" celebratory meal and attentive service.

Thanks! can't wait!;)
