how much to budget for dinner at rainforest cafe....

We are a family of 5 (dc will be 13, 9, 4). How much should I budget for dinner at Rainforest Cafe? I was thinking between $100 - $200?

For a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids with one that orderd appetizer for meal and one that ordered off kids menu we spent $80 on dinner but that was back in 2003.. I would say about $125 maybe?

That's a good budget for RFC. If you plan on appetizers or alcholic beverages that really adds on. We spent about $90 on our dinner there (DH, me, DD5 at the time, and DS 3 at the time). The major cost came when DH and I each had two rainbow pinacoladas in the souvenier glass. Those were close to $10 each

I would say that's a good budget. You can go to allearsnet.com and get an idea of the menu and cost. The portions are pretty big, so you could split meals.

Do you have a Safari membership? If not, it costs $15.00 and you get

* next available seating
* either 10% off food (and merchandise) or a free appetizer
* they will mail you a $10.00 gift certificate (and then a $5 one for your birthday)

If you have a RFC near you or are planning on going back within the year, it's a good thing to have. You can only sign up at the restaurant though.

ETA: you can use the Safari club card at other Laundry restaurants.
