How much time to I need to go from AK to WCC?

We are planning on spending the day at AK and seeing the 4:00 parade, then going to Whispering Canyon for diner. We will be taking the buses. What time should I make our ressies for, so we don't have to hurry? Is there a site that can help with that as well as timing other days?

It takes a little while to get out of AK and onto a bus, then the drive there, I would make your reservation for no earlier than 6:30. That way you should be there in plenty of time and maybe get to look around the WL a little bit. It is worth a trip out to the pool and down to the docks to check out the resort.

From AK to WL, I'd allow about an hour total so you won't be rushed. If you get there early, you can always check in at WC and look around the resort (it's beautiful!).

I agree with the no earlier than 6:30 time. For my family, I would maybe even make it for 7:00 because I always seem to need time to check out that last gift shop on the right as you leave AK

Depending on where you are on the parade route, it could take a while for the parade to get to you. It's a little hike to the WL bus stop from inside the park plus there may or may not be a wait for the next bus. The link provided above states 24 minutes by bus - so that's another half hour by the time you add walking from the bus stop, standing in awe in the WL lobby and checking in at WCC. If you do arrive early, you can always go to the restaurant desk and tell them you are there. Sometimes you need to wait until your ADR time, but several times we have been seated earlier.

If not, WL is a wonderful place to wait - and walk down to the boat dock as already mentioned.

Great idea we are doing the same thing! had not thought about how long it will take. we made ressee's for 8:00
