How Much Time to allow for Mears?

Hi,

We booked Mears shuttle through Disney from MCO to CSR for the week of spring break. Our plane gets in at 5:30pm, my question is how long should I figure it'll take to get to the resort--I want to make a PS for dinner at Maya Grill, but not sure what time to do. I thought maybe 8:00, but is that too early/late?

Thanks,
Marc

We used Mears last year during our Easter break. It took 30 minutes to get from MCO to PC. (We were the first ones dropped off)

I would not make a PS that evening. Your plane could be delayed. You need to allow time to get your baggage. Two hours from boarding the bus or van (it might not leave immediately) to pulling into your resort is not unusual. Then you need to check in at the resort.

This is what I would do -- Don't make a PS. When you get to CSR, and head to check in, have the CM checking you in look for an available PS. Often times you can sneak in a last minute PS, and be seated quicker than if you just walked up. If there aren't any left, you can either head over to Pepper Market, or head over to the Maya Grill and get in the standby line.

I like Tyler's idea. Spring break is a busy time in Orlando and the line waiting for buses can often be interminable. Buying tickets ahead of time was a great idea, by the way! You are ahead of the game in that respect! You may get very lucky - I hope you do! - but you don't want to have to worry about timing.
