I am trying to decide what to do for dinner on our arrival evening and have been reading about the long waits just to board the bus. I know it varies but could some one give me a general idea of how long it takes to get from MCO to our resort (AoA). I would like to make an ADR at Disney Springs but have no idea how much time to allow. Thanks in advance.

Even during the good times of DME I wouldn't book an ADR for less than 3 hours from when the airplane was scheduled to land.

The "typical" pre-covid time was 90-120 minutes from when you stepped off the plane. @maxiesmom suggestion of three hours from arrival is a decent ballpark. Personally, I wouldn't book anything I could lose money on or something that I *REALLY* wanted to do within 5 hours of arrival. This has very little to do with DME and more to do with airlines. Weather and mechanical problems can easily delay your flight. If there's a storm after you land, the baggage folks have to clear the tarmac and now you have to wait for the bags.

Don't forget the timing for getting from resort to disney springs. You might just miss a bus and have to wait 20-30 mins.
