how much time for bus from Boardwalk - DTD and back?

okay... still playing around with idea of not renting a car...

we'll be staying at the Boardwalk for the end of our trip.
if we want to hop on over to DTD for lunch and an afternoon at DisneyQuest... how long does it take to ride the Disney bus?

is the bus direct to DTD from Boardwalk?
or does it stop at a whole bunch of Epcot area resorts, and Typhoon Lagoon, etc... before arriving at DTD?
that would take forever!

what about coming back later in the afternoon from DTD to Boardwalk? non-stop? or still a bunch of stops? how much time?

We have stayed At BW the bus ride stops at YC,BC,Swan,Dolphin
plus depending on the bus Bizzard beach etc.. Before it was one bus direct to the park now they make stops could be 40 mintues ride. You are the first picked up and the last stop on the return.

J&J, just wanted to clarify, you were talking about the Downtown Disney bus from Boardwalk, right?
the part you said about "to the park" confused me...

so, going to Downtown Disney, the bus picks up at 1) Boardwalk, 2) YC, 3) BC, 4) Swan, 5) Dolphin, 6) optional Blizzard Beach and finally 7) arrives at Downtown Disney?

is this what you meant?

that is what we meant thank you. Just wanted to say the bus will do the same stops for pick up and return if you go to the parks.

wow, they really need to split up that route, insteading of lumping all 5 resorts together like that.

This is how the Downtown Disney route goes...

Swan -> Dolphin -> Yacht -> Beach -> (Boardwalk*) -> Marketplace -> Pleasure Island/West Side -> Typhoon Lagoon

*- From 6:30pm-11:30pm (give or take), the Boardwalk splits into its own bus. All other times, it is generally lumped in with all the other Epcot Resorts.

Yes, it does sound like a lot of stops, but it really isnt. They're all very close to each other. Travel time from BW to PI/WS... approx 15 mins. From PI to Boardwalk, it might be around 17-22, depending on Typhoon Lagoon and traffic. You should never be on the bus itself for more than 25 minutes at most.

As for lumping parks together... MK is it's own separate bus... DTD/TL is it's own bus, and DAK/BB is its own separate bus.

One thing to PLEASE do... always double check the destination sign on the bus to verify that it does indeed go to the Boardwalk. If in doubt, ask the driver.
