How much time does a fastpass actually save you?

It's quite possible that some of the standby "glarers" are local guests who hate FastPass because it makes it virtually impossible for them to have a shorter wait for a popular ride because they, for whatever reason, were unable to make it to Disneyland earlier in the day. I've seen intense hatred for FP on some other boards for that very reason. While I don't agree with them, that may explain why some dislike it.

We go fast pass crazy every time we go. Ive never had to wait longer than 15 minutes on any ride every time Ive gone to disneyland. Id rather wait 15 min than 60 min.
