We have 6 day park hoppers and are there saturday through saturday. It will be myself, DH, DM, DS (4 1/2). I figure just one day for MGM and 1 half day maybe full day for AK. Then rest of the time for MK and Epcot. Does this sound right?

Assuming you're staying on property, I'd suggest hitting the EE park early and get the major attractions in before crowds build, about 12:30 - 1 pm on the weeks we've been there, then hop to Epcot for the afternoon. That's always worked for us. Epcot is big enough that it swallows the crowds. Doing this you can hit each of the others twice and do a leisurely tour of FW and WS with the help of FastPasses.

A schedule like yours has worked well for us. MK & E- two days each, MGM & AK- one day each. We also like to throw in a water park day during the summer.

We always spend 5 days in the parks - two at MK, two at Epcot and one at MGM. AK is not interesting to me at all, although if I had a sixth day in the parks I might spend half a day there. So yeah, your plan sounds good to me!!

Is this your first time going? If it is we know how you feel. Our first time was back in April. We went Mon - Sat. This is what we did.

Monday went to AK and after that to DTD

Tuesday went to Chef Mickeys and then all day till midnight at MK

Wednesday was Epcot and believe it or not we went to DTD afterwards. I can't believe we did this as we were so tired

Thursday was MGM

Friday was MK to ride space mt and a couple of other rides then over to Epcot as we needed to do our leave the legacy photos. That night was Ohanas. Yummy.

Saturday was riding the water mice at the CBR and then shopping at DTD.

This time we are leaving on a Saturday and coming back on a Friday.

So our plan this time is when we arrive on Sat to not do a park. We learned from the last time. We are going to resort hop until we get to DTD and eat at Earl of sandwich and then DW is getting a massage at the GF. Then we have HDDR that night and back to the WL to look around and sleep.

Sunday is Epcot

Monday is MGM and after Fantasmic and Osborne lights, I believe we are going to DTD

Tuesday is Chef Mickey's (Looks like a trend is starting) and then MK all day take a rest and back to MK for the MMVMCP

Wed is Epcot again or if it's warm weather than TL then Boardwalk that ngiht

Thursday is AK and Mk that night for MMVMCP

Friday is our free day. Probably back down to DTD or outlet Disney Store and riding water mice.

Sorry my post is long but it is possible for you to get the parks done in 6 days.

Can you tell we are excited not only about Disney but Christmas at Disney.

Going straight to the park on the saturday we arrive is making me kinda uptight too, but its the last weekend of the F&W fest and wanted to get more then just one day out of it, do you think this is bad? (yes this is our first time) Should we not waste a day on the day we arrive (flight arrives 10am)

But you see you are going to Epcot. That is a little different espically since it is the last day of the F&W. In that case go. You will be in awwwww but don't let that set you back. Where are you staying?

Where are you staying?
We are staying the Contemporary Wing. We are getting very excited (well most of us, DH is not looking forward to this, never wanted to go). I hated to miss the F&W fest when we happen to arrive the last weekend of it, when I planned this trip I did not know it was teh F&W fest so I figure its an added bonus :) :Pinkbounc
