How much time do you allow for Disney bus travel from your hotel to a park?

How much time do you allow for Disney bus travel from your hotel to a park or from park to park? I'm working on our itinerary for our upcoming WDW trip and I can't figure out how much time to allow for travel in the mornings or in the afternoons. I know at night at park closing wait times for buses are longer, so I'm thinking about 45 mins for after park clsoing bus travel times, right? IE. At this current moment I'm trying to figure out how much time I should allow for the morning bus to Magic Kingdom. I want to make it there at about 8:30 b/c park opening is at 9 and I want to watch the Rope Drop Ceremony at 8:45. If it matters, our trip is in September and we'll be staying at All Star Music.

I try to figure on 40 minutes in the morning. I figure the longest wait for a bus is around 20minutes and then depending on where you are it can take up to another 20minutes to get to the park and then through security and to the gate.

I agree with forty minutes. Sometimes it'll take a lot less, but for rope drop I'd definitely allow forty minutes.
