How much time between FP+ reservations?

I'm going to be booking my FP+ reservations soon. Like most people here, I plan out to the minute and hour what ride to go on, where to go, etc. With FP+ now, we can plan things out while guaranteeing riding certain favorite rides way in advance.

The problem is that I'm trying to figure out how much time to plan between FP+ reservations.

How much time do you leave between each reservation / ride?

I know that it's hard to predict with millions of factors that could affect when we go on the rides ( cuz it's not like we instantly get onto the ride since there's still a short wait to get on ), when we get off, how long it takes to get from the 1st ride to the next rid.

I'm thinking that 60 to 90 minutes between ride reservations is sufficient?

or

Is that too much or not enough?

For example, book reservations at "Ride A" at 10am....then book reservations for "Ride B" at 11:30am....have lunch for 1 hour then book reservations for "Ride C" at 2pm.

Am I overthinking this?

I'm just trying to gauge how much of a reasonable buffer that we can have without having to rush between rides. I don't want to rush my family ( cuz I know that it will be a hassle ) but I also want to take advantage of the time that we are there.

They're one hour windows. You can't make them closer together than that and you don't need to make them farther apart - unless you're stopping for lunch.

Remember - if you make a FP for 9:30, you can enter that line at 10:30 (meaning you have an hour and a half of RD walk on rides). If your next FP is for 10:30, you can get right on after the 9:30 one. I usually do two that way that are close to each other and then do the 11:30 one father away. Cause if I get on the second one at 10:30, even if it's splash mountain I'll be off around 11 - and I have until 12:30 to meander over to the last one, doing convenient things along the way.

As others have said, there's not necessarily a reason to leave extra time between your faspasses.

I have stacked them and it was fine.
So something like: 9-10, 10-11, 11-12.

I will add gaps if I am booking for attractions that are not near each other. Or if my touring style dictates. How much depends on the park and my plans.

When stacked, I have done as suggested, entered near the end of one window and then hop right on to the next ride.

It all depends on how you like to tour but what we usually do is book one for, say 11:30-12:30 and have lunch at 11:45 so by the time that one is about to expire we use it and then can head straight to our next one from 12:30-1:30. Then there's the third which you might have to wait for but that works best for us!

I disagree that most people here plan out to the minute and hour where to go and each ride. I make 3 FP, usually clustered together, and possibly one ADR, and that's it.

Thanks for all of your responses.

I'm new to this FastPass+ feature that they offer and have about 3 weeks left to plan what to do and where before I start booking in mid-May.

A FP+ is valid five minutes before the time listed and 15 minutes after. So a 10 to 11 FP+ is really 9:55 to 11:15. I agree with all the others to stack them as close as possible. I am a local AP holder and I go frequently. Mine are always as close together as possible.
