Just occured to me that I really don't know how much spending money to take this time :confused3 .

I've got my Disney & Flex tickets already.

Will £1,500 :earseek: be enough for three weeks?

Depends on how much you think you're going to spend!!

We normally allow £100 a day for the 4 of us for food and souvenirs etc.

I do take my credit card though in case we do any clothes shopping!

I'm planning on taking approx. $1000 for 16 nights (that's for me only - Jay will probably take about the same for himself).

But we won't be buying lots - we're planning on spending about $600 each on food so we won't have much left to spend anyway!

We always estimate on £100 a day as well including both the days we are travelling.

It always looks a lot to start with but then you get to Disney and the $ just seem to disappear ;)

DH and I plan on around £1,000 - £1,200 for the two of us with any large purchases/expensive meals on a CC - this is for 16 nights.

With you there then, cos we are working towards £100 per day for meals and everything. Last time, we took a £1,000 each in travellers cheques, but that included buying our tickets in resort off the Virgin Rep (10% for being a Frequent Virgin).

We normaly work on £100/day + a CC each. If you have specific meals etc. already planned, you can easily budget for these, e.g. you know what a character b/fast costs, so I often package this amount separately to keep it simple. Likewise if you're paying daily car park charges, you can identify how much you'll need for this. Alot depends as well on whether you will buy everything at the park (water @ $2-50/sml bottle), or buy a gallon at the supermarket & take your own in in a camelback or something. Likewise, will you carry snacks prebought, e.g bananas/crisps etc. or pay theme park prices? We employ both these tactics & the savings do mount up, but there again, that's just me!
