Emma, you are not an awful Mum, you did the right thing leaving her safe and warm. You need the food in the freezer.
We have had the snow now for about 3 weeks at about 8 inches thick. It is making life quite difficult as we live at a bottom of a hill and the entrance to the estate is on another hill. Sons have job in country pub which is a more hazardous route to travel on.
My sister's baby due next Wednesday so am hoping she can get to the hospital safely. I am trying to keep my road clear also in case she rings up needing my help.
