How much should I give as a graduation gift?

I am going to a friends daughters graduation party this weekend. She graduated highschool and I was wondering what the going rate for a graduation cash gift was. Any suggestions???????? Thanks!

It depends on how close you are to her. My ds got $20 and $25 from ppl that we know but arent extremely close to. He got more from family members and close friends.

Thanks everyone! Thats what I was thinking, $20-$25.00.
I will go with $25.00.
I just wasn't sure if it was something that everyone gave $50.00 for and if that was the case and I didn't know it, I didn't want to be embarrased.

$25 seems fine to me. $50 for high school is usually reserved for very close friends and family.
