How much should I budget?

We will be 1 adult and 2 teenagers (16 years old). How much do you suggest I budget for food for 6 days and 5 nights at Disney? We're stay on property.

I would check out the menus and pricing at allearsnet.com. Just click on 'dining' and it will bring you to every menu in all the parks and resorts.
There are so many factors on how much you might spend...like your eating habits, do you plan on doing a lot of counter services or table services, etc.

What kind of meals are you doing? Have you made reservations yet? I suggest you look at the menus at allearsnet to decide where to eat. You can guess what you might order. What I did was went through the menus and chose the most expensive thing each person might order, added tax (6.5%) and determined a tip if applicable. I know what my family likes and this way I was budgeting so we could order what we wanted and I knew we had enough to cover it.

Definitely check the all ears menus to see where you want to eat.

If you want a TS each day the prices are going to vary wildly.

For QS I found that most places averaged $13 per adult per meal. However; that number is from a year ago.

For breakfast we ate snacks and the prices on those again vary alot.

For snack and drink item prices check the DDP approved snack list on the dining plan forum. It's not just junk food listed - the list also includes fruit, toast, bagels, muffins, etc plus drinks http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2381706.

QSP $32 x 4ppl x 5days = $640.00
8 OOP x $25(TS) = $200.00
Total $840.00

DDP $42 x 4ppl x 5days = $840.00
8 OOP x $15(CS) = $120.00
Total $960.00
