How much shopping do you have left ????

I am almost done...need to get a couple more gifts for my sister, and a couple more things for my boyfriend. I keep seeing things I want to buy, but then have to remind myself I need to get them all home to CA! So need to restrain myself a bit... ;)

I would say I'm 99% done. By that, I mean that I'm DONE but I have one more paycheck (the Friday before Christmas) so I will probably pick up one more thing each for my boys (I'm thinking a big box of baseball/football cards)

My side of the family picks names each year and I got my mom's name (she wanted a gift card) and my DH got my SIL's name (she needed a big ole robe) so those are done and wrapped. We also pick names between DH/me and his sister/her husband. Those are all done.

I only bought my DH 2 DVD's that he wanted (Cars & Pirates 2) plus a tshirt from Big Dogs (he doesn't know about that though) We decided that we're not exchanging with each other this year....we want to put the money we would have spent and put it towards our Disney trip next summer.

I have 7 kids (aside from my own) that I buy for. Just one gift each, but they're all done and wrapped and under the tree.

The only thing that I still need to get is a gift card for each of their teachers (I'm making up a movie night bucket for them and would like to get a gift card to go inside of it as well) That, the baseball/football cards that I said earlier and a few stocking stuffers and that's it.

I also had all my wrapping done too. UNTIL my DH decided that he wanted to start up his model train hobby again (with the boys this time) and went out and bought the Polar Express Train Set, 3 extra Polar Express train cars and two buildings for them. But DH actually told me when I sign the gift tags, to put both of our boys names on it AS WELL as Daddy. Now I have to wrap those and put them out in the camper (this is where we hide the gifts)

I am probably only half done. I was having problems finding DS14 stuff. He really wanted the Imperial Star Fighter Lego set and I hesitated because of the price, $100 (his real gift is his trip to China). I haven't found anything else so I thought I would just get that but now they are sold out everywhere.

Im all finished shopping and decorating.
Christmas has started for us. Last night I had a party to go to for the gym which was alot of fun.
Im planning on doing my Christmas cards and wrapping presents today.

I am almost done, but I have toughest part left - the items for my DH's stocking. I struggle with this every year. I have to get to Target soon to get this done :)

I could be done in one day as well if DH would let me, lol. It is the wrapping that has me scared. :teeth:

When you say "left", is that supposed to imply that we have already got something? :confused3

Actually we will be going back to the border (Texas) in February, and that is when we are going to do most of our Christmas presents. For the most part, we are going to give our kids a bunch of small things on Christmas day, but they know that the nicer presents will be in February.
I think my wife picked up a few stocking stuffers yesterday, and hopefully this week we will be able to get the rest of our things.

Usually I'm done by now, but not this year. I still have more than I'd like to think about to do. DD and I are headed out in a little bit. Hopefully to get lots done.

I spent so much time planning our WDW trip at Thanksgiving that I totally put
off preparing for Xmas. I hate to shop so I usually start early before the crowds
start. So I don't have to deal with all that. No Wonder I've been dreaming
about being back in WDW. I am trying to escape Christmas shopping crowds.

The hubby---I get my paycheck on the 20th (10 days early :cool1: ). Once that puppy is dd'd into my account..off a Christmas shopping I will go.

Makes me feel better to use my own money rather than the family money that he has budgeted from his salary.

I'm almost done. I've already got my boys gifts, my nephew and DS's teachers. I just have a few more gifts to pick up and I'm done. Good thing is I already know what I plan on buying, I just need to get to the store which I'll probably do this weekend. Christmas cards are already sent out so that's good considering I mailed them out really late last year.

I'm about 3/4 of the way done. Friday night I'm going out to finish up. I know what most of the things I need are, I just need to go get them.

I have about 90% left to do! This is SO unlike me. I don't know what happened to me this year! :confused3 I just feel so UN-Christmassy! The tree is up, but not decorated.....the cookie dough is made but no cookies are baked......hardly any shopping done......cards bought but not in the mail yet. :rolleyes1

There is NO Christmas cheer at my house this year, and I'm not sure why. DD's even had to remind me that St. Nick forgot to come! :sad2: He came two days later at our house! I'm so pathetic......geesh. :sad2:

AprilShowers - I feel your pain! :grouphug: I think I can attribute my lack of Christmas cheer to two things: lack of time and lack of money! My husband and I took an unexpected and unplanned cruise mid-October and now I am having to wait for the money to come in for Christmas shopping. I'm practically done with the kids, but haven't done much for anyone else. I told my husband the other day that I don't feel like I can even slow down enough to enjoy what I'm doing. I'm hoping that I can finish with my shopping this weekend so maybe I can destress and enjoy what's left until the big day!

I need some stocking stuffers, which I should be able to get in one trip, and then I should be done.

Done and wrapped!

DH still has to assemble each kids gift from Santa, but he won't get to that until next week.

Picked up the microwave for Mom Monday night-- originally went to Best Buy and they didn't have the model I wanted in stock that was supposed to be on sale. Ended up at Home Depot and there's were on sale too for $10 less  . They have 2 in stock and that included the display!

Got a digital photo frame for my Dad. I hope he takes it out of the box because it wasn't cheap

Still have to pick up a few GC and some small things this weekend. No biggie!
