How much of a draw is EEH?

I made our park reservations before really taking a good look at park hours because we're fairly indifferent to when they open and close. I just realized that our EPCOT day has EEH and we are not staying deluxe so we won't be eligible for them.

Our plan was
Sunday 6/5 HS
Monday 6/6 EPCOT
Tuesday 6/7 MK

With EPCOT having EEH hours will it draw more people during the day that plan on staying the duration or will it be less busy during the day and start peaking towards night as the EEH guests arrive? I guess I'm just trying to figure out whether or not I should flip flop my HS and EP days.

It seems like after 2pm EP would get more crowded. Or at least more crowded later in the evening. If you don’t plan on closing the park it probably won’t matter. Though I haven’t been there for the deluxe extra hours so this is pure conjecture. Maybe someone else will know.

We never really enjoyed the early entry hours even when we had young kids. The one time I really tried our eldest was nauseous from getting up so early = complete bust. Now we rarely make it out of the room before 10a so EEH = eh. I do have a BIL that makes it a point to get to the park at opening - not EEH - and he says he has good luck with the more popular rides. Our SIL, his wife, has problems sleeping so they're often on the buses at 7a. For us the extended evening hours we more inviting but now I can't stay up that late anymore. LOL

We generally would start the day somewhere else and hop to the park with the late hours, often for dinner when the park is Epcot. I would expect some more people in the evening, but it is only for guests of certain resorts so maybe not a huge amount? Epcot is a big park, if you get your must-do rides done in the morning or early afternoon you should be fine. Food booths for F&G festival may be more crowded, but people often advise to avoid Epcot on the weekends. I guess I would keep what you have scheduled.

I haven’t been able to tell a noticeable change in crowd. However, extended evening hours at Epcot are garbage. Frozen will still be an hour. TT will still be 45 minutes. Which is basically the entire time of course. Then if you skip one or the other you need to knock out frozen last because of you do frozen first you may not have enough time to walk to the other rides before it closes given the size of the park and the construction (we will try it again next trip in hopes that gotg will be open during it). So if you do soarin, LL and something else then you will need to race down to frozen and end up being up until past midnight and still have had to wait in line for frozen pretty much the same as during the day. Now if the carts beers and foods were open that would be a different story, as then there would be other options, a better experience and it would keep the crowds from gathering at frozen, but as it is you are basically racing around the parks to get no benefit over doing it during the day while simultaneously causing a necessary delay the following morning.

Remy wasn’t open during it when I went but obviously adding it in not only adds to wait time but walking too.

MK on the other hand is amazing. Absolutely worth planning your trip around the two hours at MK.

We did MK and it was great, though a very long day. Crowds were down later in the evening, and we were there Spring break week. (8 out of 10 day). What I wanted to do was get in Early Morning hours, then break mid day and go back late afternoon.

I really enjoy park hopping for that day. Get in an early more one animal kingdom or HS, nice long break with the kids napping and then MK. Just doesn’t help any at Epcot, don’t really understand why they don’t switch it to HS.

I honestly didn’t notice a difference between EEH days and otherwise. I did, however notice a big difference between weekends vs weekdays (Epcot better on weekdays, HS slightly better on weekends). This was mid-March. I would keep it as is.

I don’t know but I’m here at Epcot hours now and frozen broke down while we were in line, almost everyone went to ratatouille so it’s the only ride we will get to do during this

If you can stay for the evening extended hours, its worth it as the parks are not very crowded.
A much better use of time than early entry, IMHO.

I think it depends. Epcot was packed last night for the hours and both test track & frozen were down pretty much the whole time

Is there a "good" EEH plan for Epcot? We switched to a deluxe to have the extra time to try for a 6pm VQ for GotG, but I've read they go extremely quickly--and if we do get one, it will only be 30 minutes of time anyway.

What is the best use of time for EEH otherwise? We're planning on RD Epcot that morning to ride Frozen, then do G+ for Remy, Soarin', etc.--take a break mid day to PH to another park or relax, so there shouldn't be any ONE ride we need to squeeze in. Just trying to avoid long lines.

I would not watch the fireworks. Get on the lines during the fireworks for sure. Probably Rely or Frozen would be the best use of the time. Maybe we just had a bad day with the amount of rides being down and it sucked that Frozen went down after waiting in line for a bit. Yep--you can't jump from attraction to attraction easily at all. Skipping the fireworks makes a lot of sense, we aren't hugely into them anyway. I'm curious about Harmonious but satisfied seeing one barge lit up with one graphic and then continuing on our way.
