In January, we took our daughters godfather (42 years old) with us to WDW for his first trip. We had this trip booked for 10 months, all ADRs for a nine day trip made at 6 am 180 days out. We talked about it. We watched old home videos. But, since it was so far away, we knew we had to keep the anticipation under control.
Well, last week, my wife and I booked a three day (no children) trip to WDW for Labor Day and now he wants to come again, and bring his girlfriends (who has also never been to WDW). Before we barely even thought about it, we booked, booked airfare and can now barely keep things together (an obvious exaggeration).
This is the shortest notice we have ever had for a trip and honestly, I dont know which I like more. The months to plan and critique so many details, or the short notice last minute trip.
