How much more is it to get a Concierge Room?

From reading the boards for the last several years, a lot of people seem to enjoy WDW Concierge service. We have never thought to do it so I am wondering how much more it costs over over a basic room. Also, if you do Concierge, do you automatically get a room with a great view or some other special attribute?

It varies from resort to resort, but generally speaking it starts at about $100 more per night over rack rate. Sometimes there are discounts and codes to save some money.

Concierge rooms do not always have the best views. That too varies by resort. They do have robes in the rooms, and often upgraded toiletries, plus turn down service and a few other perks like that. Concierge comes with a variety of services and amenities including the lounge and it's food and beverage offerings, and personalized services of the concierge staff.
