I saved money up for the trip we are taking in 12 days.. We will be there 6 days and I was wondering what is to much or to little to bring . Is a $1,000 good or $1,500 or higher .. Not sure what the right savings is.. can you please help and give me an idea.

There are alot of factors that come into play so its hard to answer your question. How many people are you traveling with? Do you have the dining plan? Will you be staying off site? If so will you have a car and need to pay for parking at the theme parks? Will you have a kitchen? If so will you be eating any meals at your room? Are you a major souvenir shopper? Do you tip for services like luggage handling and maid service in your room? Do you plan to enjoy alcoholic beverages with your meals? And so on. One thousand dollars would be more than enough for us but we dont drink much. And we hardly buy any souvenirs. And we usually stay on site so there are no parking fees to pay. Plus most of our trips are five nights long. And we are five disney adults.

There will be 5 of us 3 adults and two 3 year olds. We are staying at the BCv( we rented points) for 5nights. We don't have the dining plan and there is a fridge and microwave in the room I was just curious because of the food and the cost od disney souvenoirs..

If you are planning on eating every meal in the parks or at full service meals $1000 might not be enough. Have you decided at all how many meals you want to eat in the parks/resorts? You can take a look at the menus on www.allears.net to get an idea of pricing. Once you have decided how many meals you plan on eating out vs in the room it will be much easier to get an idea. We typically don't bring much extra money, just enough for each child to get something small and $20-$50 for hubby and I to get stuff for our selves. However we could easily spend way more than that on all the cute stuff.
