How much money for tolls

Going to have a car this next trip, and wondered how much are the tolls from the airport to WDW. What change do I need?

Depends on whether you go 528 or 417. Either way $2.00 in Quarters will cover it. Then again, a $5.00 bill will work too!

I always use 528. There are two tolls at 75 cents each.

When leaving the north airport exit, go to the first light and turn left to skip one of the tolls. Getting on 528 (Beach Line fka Bee Line) is just over a mile down a side road.

Returning to airport get off 528 at its exit 9 Tradeport. Cross under, (nice cheap gas station right there, then) get into middle lane, and you must turn right onto that side road. Also works going from WDW to Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, etc.

At some time in the future 417 and/or 528 may be reconfigured with non-stop toll arches for the left lanes. If you do not have a Sun Pass or E-Pass (not EZ) you must "exit" to the right and use the real toll booth.

Speaking of Tolls, I heard on the radio that the Expressway Authority wants to raise the Tolls by 25 cents for each toll plaza sometime in the near future. This was a big topic on one of the local talk radio programs yesterday.

There's going to be a big fight about their proposal to raise tolls. Given the huge amounts of money they've wasted with no accountability, I doubt that politically they'er going to be able to pull off a toll increase this time. They need to wait 5 years and try then.
