I haven't traveled in a while and I just want to make sure to bring enough cash with me so I am asking you all "the experts" on who to tip and how much??

Sky cap??
Magic Express??
Mousekeeping??

Anyone I am missing??

Thanks,
Lisa

I think you will get a lot of differences.

I use 1$ per bag for ME (With a min of 1$ per person) I also tip the guy the same that brings bags to my room same thing. 1$ a bag..

I tip 0 - 5$ for mouse keeping, depending on how bad the room gets. If it is daily I leave 0 on days that it is nothing, and up to 5$ if a mess.

I do not know what sky cab is, maybe this is in DL? not sure.

I tip $8 for the Disneyland Express for myself, dd1 and dd4. I usually need a little bit extra help :-). I'd say $1 a person us $1 a bag is just fine.

Sky caps and any other person assisting with your luggage should be tipped $1 to $2 per bag on average.

I always struggle with this too! I normally give a dollar a bag to anyone I see who touches them past the airport check in (I don't do Sky cap but if I did they would get the same). If they are particularly helpful or friendly I might give a little more. I tip Mousekeeping a dollar a person in the room plus a dollar. So since it is just my hubby and I, I normally give 3 dollars a day. If we made a particular mess the I add a dollar or two to that.

If you plan on taking any taxis, (we ended up taking 2 last time due to timing of dining reservations) don't forget cash to tip them. Oh and we always tip the bartenders $1 a drink when we get drinks from any walk up bars.

Sky Caps are the people who take your bags at the airport when you do curbside check in. Same $1-2 per bag rule applies.

quick ? on where you leave tips for mousekeeping, dh and I disagree about everyday vs. at the end of stay,. He only has us leave large lump at end but I would rather do it day by day, different house keepers...so where do you leave it so they know it is for them?

I leave it daily. I have fun making the little envelopes to put it in!

We leave $1 pp pd for mousekeeping in a pre-made (by my girls and I) envelope on the dresser. Just like above I do it that way bc different housekeepers on different days. We left a little extra last time when mousekeeping washed my sister's baby bottles for her!!! talk about above and beyond!!!
We tip $1 per bag as well.
We tip cab drivers about $3.
I'm not sure what's normal for everyone but that's how we do it! ;)
