I think it will be announced after the OKW slide is completed. When is it scheduled to be completed, 6-12 months? That's when IMHO
As I've mentioned, the increasing numbers of DVC members is making the decision inevitible. I do think there is a cost associated with Deluxe resorts not being able to properly care for thier paying guests due to too many people visiting from other resorts and local pool crashers, stealing pool services.Originally posted by PamOKW
The OKW slide is slated to be open late December/early January.....If they took away pool hopping -- which costs nothing -- that would be losing two perks within a year or two.
I also agree.Originally posted by Desperado

Unless it's done as part of a concerted effort to eliminate improper hopping throughout the resorts, I think it would represent an unnecessary black eye for DVC.
I like your explanation better than mine. I hope your right and I'm wrong.Originally posted by Happy Birthday Cat
I'm saying never because I don't think it's a big deal to Disney one way or the other and because the OKW pool slide will actually take the pressure off of pool hopping by keeping those wanting a slide at OKW. Even with new resorts opening in the future, new pools open with them, hence no need to do away with PH. HBC
