How much longer are character meals than regular TS meals?

We've booked 4 character meals for our 8 day trip. Is this too many? I'm wondering if after a while, we may get sick of waiting around longer for these meals? Or, are they not much longer? So far we have CP, Tusker House, CM, and Akershus booked.

Our experience is that it doesn't take longer for character meals than a regular TS. Not sure if it affects it, but we do schedule early dinner times. Usually right around 5pm and we are in and out in about an hour. Depending on if we are seated on time.

4 character meals for 8 days is not alot in my book. I could do them everyday if it were up to me. LOL

You should be fine.

Most character meals are bufetts and we like to eat with the characters so we do not see that it takes more time and that would be up to you how long you wanted to stay.enjoy them all

4 over an 8 day trip is not too many, IMO. I think on our last trip this past May, my girlfriend and I had 6 over 9 days (mostly breakfasts). As far as if character meals are longer than other TS meals, it really all depends. If you get seated just before the characters start arriving to your section, you could be out in 30-45 mins. However, if you just missed the characters and want to see them all it could take anywhere from 60-90 mins depending on which restaurant. I don't think it has ever taken us longer than an hour and a half at any character meal.
