How much ketchup does your family use in a month?

I went to our basement pantry today and was almost "shocked" to find out that we only had one bottle of ketchup left on the shelves. Normally there can be 10 - 12 bottles. Seriously, and not the small 28 ounce bottles; I'm talking the 48 ouncers!

I guess we use 100 - 150 ounces a month.

How much for your family?

BTW, we keep so much ketchup because of all the BBQ sauce I make...

My youngest eats it like water. I go throught a 32oz bottle a week. She won't eat it if it isn't in the heinz bottle. So now I buy store brand a fill the heinz bottle. She has no idea.
She eats it on every thing. Yesterday she sat and ate slices of cheese and dipped in it. The worse is when she dipps pancakes in it.

Less than one small one in 7 months.. When I leave the lake to go back to my DD's I pitch it - because they still have ketchup in their trailer that they have to haul home..

Us, too. DH is the only one who eats ketchup on his burgers/hot dogs, and we almost bever make fries at home. DD hates even the sight of ketchup, so we hardly ever use it.

Well, I am, in fact bored. But I could never be THAT bored.

I started using the Costco version 114oz . We go through it every 4 months. I should say son goes through it every 4 months.

And I thought I liked ketchup! We go through a big bottle every few months or so. I did the math though and I couldn't imagine going through the equivalent of about 4500 calories a month on just ketchup. That's like 150 calories eaten of it a day

The sad part is that 90% of that is eaten by my 11 yo DD. She eats ketchup on just about everything except chocolate pop tarts and oreo's.

You know the little packets you get at McD's? I use one of those maybe once a month. If that. Not a big ketchup person. I'd rather eat ranch dressing on my fries, A1 on my hamburgers, and cheese on my hotdogs.

I tend to avoid recipes that call for it, because I don't want to buy a bottle and throw half of it out.

If I lived with my parents and/or siblings, that amount would go up exponentially. They eat it on EVERYTHING.

We go through lots of ketchup. I buy the big double pack at costco. I'm not sure how much we eat in a week though. I'll have to check that out. One of my sons uses it on most everything and a lot of it!

None. Neither DD or I like ketchup. The only time it gets used is if it called for as an ingredient in a recipe.
