How much is your long distance phone bill (inspired by JasonLyons)....

0..we get 30 minutes free a month and don't even use that..:o

$0.00!!!

I don't even have a long-distance provider anymore. They charged even when we didn't use them, which we Didn't so, I cancelled and, we use 10-10-whoever, when we need to make that kinda call (which can be IN-state but, considered long-distance, i.e. calling December99) ;). Otherwise, an email to the long-distance relatives is fine with me! ;)

$0

Have 2 cell phones with unlimited nights and weekends and no roaming and no long distance. Might be getting rid of the land line phone in near future.:)

About less than $5 per month.

We don't have a cell, so that works out for us.

0. We got rid of our long distance service. If we need to make a LD call we use one of the 10-10 numbers. We just got new cell phones w/ free nights & weekends, so any LD calls will be made with those from now on. :teeth:

Another Sam's AT&T user here for anyone using the home phone, I personally use my cell.

Alright all you $0 people...if you use a 10-10 number you still pay, it just shows up somewhere else???

then I discovered the internet and also ten ten eight one one.....it is the best plan around....talked to my friend in OHIO....and it was five cents a minute.....anytime any way anyhow anywho.....hahaha

I got rid of our long distance on our phone line and only use onesuite.com for long distance. It's 2.9 cents a minute if you use an 800 number or 2.5 cents a minute if there is a local access number in your area (and there is in my area). No monthly fees, no access fees, no NOTHING but the 2.9 or 2.5 cents a minute. It's all prepaid, so I don't get any surprises with the phone bill!

Yes I pay for those individual calls, Pembo and, it shows up on my reg. phone bill but, it's at the lower 10-10 rate, which is much cheaper PER call than to be charged every month for a LD service that I don't use or require on a regular basis. Make sense???? ;)
