Ours is $60 for DirectTV. From what I see on these boards, that is relatively cheap?

We have 2 TV's hooked up, one regular box, one HD. I don't know our package, but it includes enough for us, no movie channels.

I'm too lazy to post a poll.

$61 and some change for basic extended cable. Not Digital. No premium channels.

Enough for us, but it would be nice to have that whole DVR thing...

Yeah, I would like that, too. But I shake my head at the $60 bill every month. I just tell myself I probably wouldn't be able to figure out how to work it..;)

I am probably crazy but my bill is around $220 a month. This includes my internet connection, whole house premium, 3 boxes and every movie channel they have. It is my entire entertainment budget. My DH is out of town a lot so its worth it to me.

Mine is about $82. 2 Directv HD receivers, 1 DVR, plus w/local channels, and the west coast fox sport channel. No movie or premium channels.

I pay $80 dollars to Directv for Total Choice Plus with 4 receivers and then $34 dollars to Tivo directly for their DVR service. When football season is on then our bill increases by about $40 to $50 bucks for 5 months because we get NFL Sunday Ticket.

$235; that includes phone,cable-6 DVR boxes 1 is HD and movie channels and wireless internet.

Mine is $250, but that is all the movie channels with 5 boxes and DVR, our home phone, Internet connection and my cell phone. It cheaper than what I was paying when I paid for each of them separately.

I love having all the movie channels and would give up the DVR before I would give up the movie channels!

We're about the same. We don't even have a cable box (but we do have 2 Tivo's). Add $50 for cable internet, plus all those assinine taxes, and we pay well over $100/month. It's ludicrous, really. Yet we still do it.

66.67 a month just went to look at directv bill.. and its due on the 19th gotta remember to pay that tomorrow

No cable boxes for us either.

So yours is about about $61 and THEN you add taxes and fees? Ours is $61 "out the door."

We pay another $82 (including all of the taxes, etc) for our house phone and internet. (FIOS)

Don't ask me about our cell bill though. ;)

Verizon FIOS
20meg broadband USD40
Telephone (unlimited local and national calls) USD62
TV (two receivers not hd) USD53

Total USD155 but due to drop to USD134 with new "bundling" package.

$160/mo

Includes internet and every channel available

3 standard boxes and 1 DVR

We use Vonage, but that $25/mo is separate...

0$.... I never had cable growing up, so it never interested me to get it on my own.
Plus we don't have the money for it.
But right now we're renting a room, and the builders of the development or something offer free basic cable and internet. So we use the Wii for the wireless connection. And if we wanted to, we could pay like 10$ more for a box for the digital channels and to record.

Cable is highly over-rated and the basic channels, fox, abc, nbc, cbs, all offer more than enough sports games.

We have comcast combined with TV, Internet and Phone. We pay $130 a month for all three.

Too much!! Who'd ever thunk we'd pay 3 figures for this stuff.

Having said that...

$97 Sat
$63 Internet
$30 Vonage

We have Comcast. Used to have cable, internet and phone for $130 but just called and canceled the phone today (never use it, only use our cell) so our bill is going down to $112/month. That's with high speed internet, an HD DVR and HBO.

$114--includes phone, internet, HDTV with On Demand. We love On Demand!:goodvibes
